Ten ways to tell if you are a “ fish nut “
(Score one point for each yes)
1. You have been known to mumble strange words such as Neolamprologus, Pseudotropheus, Aphyosemion and Hemigrammopetersius.
2. You have one or more articles of clothing which have fish designs on them.
3. Whenever you travel you bring along a net, plastic bags and a bucket.
4. You know where all the pet stores are within a fifty mile radius of your home and have an opinion on the quality of their fish.
5. You have, at least, four five-gallon plastic buckets.
6. Your non-fish friends’ eyes glaze over when you talk about your hobby.
7. There is always at least one room in your house that has a wet floor.
8. You have driven two or more hours to attend a fish auction or a Guppy show.
9. You find a bucket of water in your yard full of mosquito larvae and you are overjoyed.
10. You buy a jar of pickles, not because you want the pickles but because you want the jar.
This is it, the moment of truth :
1 - 3 points -- Relax, you are still amongst the sane.
4 - 6 points -- You are a bit unusual but you are not over the edge, yet.
7 - 8 points -- That’s it ! You have entered the realm of the odd folks
9 - 10 points -- You are a fully qualified FISH NUT !! There is no known cure so you might as well grin, enjoy it and buy another tank
